Introducing the 2026 Star ⭐️ of the Week, sponsored by The Kensi.First round for 8 team grades started yesterday with all teams playing. Whilst it was wet for some time slots, at least it wasn't too cold. Well done to our new umpires, taking the court for the first time - you did a great job.To vote for your ⭐️ of the week, click on their photo and “like”👍 them. On Friday night the ⭐️ with the most likes will receive a voucher from The Kensi.⭐️1. David - If there’s a job to be done, David is already doing it. Between seeking sponsors and coordinating functions, he’s a fixture at the courts—yesterday alone he clocked 5+ hours supporting his daughter through playing and umpiring. The definition of a club stalwart!⭐️2. Holly - The whistle looks natural in Holly’s hand! She’s just kicked off her umpiring journey and is already commanding the court like a pro. From spotting tricky calls to maintaining a great presence, she’s smashing this new challenge.⭐️3. Zoe - Our 9B stars are in the best hands with Zoe. Bringing a wealth of netball knowledge and seasons of experience, she’s building an incredible foundation for our younger players. We are so lucky to have her tactical mind courtside!⭐️4. Maddy - Queensland’s loss is our gain! Maddy has returned to the Open A squad after several seasons away, bringing a unique "calm but electric" energy to the court. It’s like she never left, and we are pumped to have her back in the Morialta colours.⭐️5. Alicia - Talk about a "full circle" moment! Alicia returned to netball after years away to play alongside her daughter, but yesterday was extra special: she got to take the court with both of her daughters. A true family affair and a memory for the archives! ... See MoreSee Less
