Winter & Summer Seasons

SUMMER 2026/27

5 – 9 October 2026	6 team grades commence
12 – 16 October 2026	All teams play
2 -6 November 2026	Regrading (after week 5 matches completed)
7 – 11 December 2026	Last week before Christmas break
1 – 5 February 2027	Matches re-commence
1 – 5 March 2027	Last week of minor round
8 – 12 March 2027	Semi Finals (public holiday games are still played)
15 – 19 March 2027	Grand Finals

Winter SEASON

Information

Winter netball is played on Saturday afternoons from April to September, for both Open and Age Grade teams at varying times (12.00pm, 1.30pm, 3.00pm OR 4.30pm).

Open and 17/u teams play at Central Courts, between Goodwood Road and ANZAC Highway.

Age Grade teams (8/u – 15/u) play on a home and away schedule and venues vary depending on the opposition.

Nominations open in December each year.

Trainings

Trainings are compulsory during the Winter season. Players not attending training will receive reduced court time if all other players are available.

Trainings will be held on FIXED days based on grades as follows:

Monday – U15
Tuesday – U13 & Open (D-F)
Wednesday – U17 (A-C) & Open (A-C)
Thursday – U8, U9, U11 & U17 (D-F)

Fees (2026)

Central Courts Teams (A Grade – U17) – $140
Suburban Teams (U15 – U8) – $120

Please note that in addition to these fees, there is a small administration fee applied by PlayHQ.

The committee aims to keep fees at a reasonable rate to ensure that netball can be an affordable sport for everyone. Fundraising activities, grants and sponsorship all assist in helping to keep fees low.
